The selection of classic cabinets from the 1980s, combined with arcade style competitive/cooperative video games, along with individual pinball tables both old and new, creates a setting that is becoming less and less common and more difficult to find as establishments like this continue to shutter. While the food can be a bit messy at times, the staff have always been cool, and the selection of games varies every so often. A good choice for a quick visit alone or with friends, whenever the mood strikes for a bit of electronic stimulation while sauntering down memory lane.
Great nostalgia ! Great classic games but I have to mention how cool the pinball machines were especially the Halloween pinball making it's theme movie music was great ! Good beer on tap, delicious finger foods too.
Great selection of my childhood games. Games aren't expensive with 20 bucks you can play around 1 hour and have so much fun. They also have an amazing variety of beers. I didn't try the food but smelled good. Staff were dope.
Barcade is a killer spot, many many retro cabinets, food is stellar, drinks are great, service is friendly and patient. A must stop spot especially as a starter or an ender to your night out.

Liam and Sophia were absolutely amazing! Came here for a pick me up with my sister and was BLOWN AWAY! Food was outstanding - delectable KISSES TO THE CHEF from this picky eater. This is what bar food is SUPPOSED TO BE We had the wings, tots and a burger every bit was fantastic. Insane selection of craft beer and the cocktails were amazing. Please don’t miss out if you’re in the area - GO! I will be back! Did I mention the game selection ! Let’s say it together V - I - N - T - A - G - E nothing but vintage and a pleasure. I love that they stay true to brand. Craft beer only - vintage games ONLY. What a good time. Can’t wait to see you again
Can't believe I never wrote a review for Barcade. I moved to New Haven 3 years ago and I've consistently been to Barcade over and over and over again. I've been to multiple barcades in different cities, and this one is my absolute favorite. First of all, the vibes here are fantastic. I love the casual feel of the bar. They have a good selection of pinball and cabinets. Their beer menu is expansive and has something for everyone. Also, the staff all around are some of the friendliest people I've met. And on top of all of this - the food is great!! Whenever I have someone visit me in New Haven, I always bring them to Barcade for a night out and they have a great time. Would highly recommend.
Finally visited this Barcade location! What a great place. The ambiance is great - there's plenty of games but also adequate room to hang out without feeling squished into the place. Their beer list was also awesome - a good variety! They also had a non-alcoholic beer (or was it a cider?). Love that! Of course the games were amazing - we had a great time. An unexpected surprise for me was how good their food was! And I think quite a good deal for the price. I have some tokens left over so DEFINITELY will be visiting again!
